I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas & holiday season! I am finally home and taking a breather from traveling and opening gifts. I had such a wonderful time with family :)
Over the holiday I purchased a macro lens, and have had some fun trying it out :) I took some photos of the ornaments on the tree. In the photos the light is from a large picture window behind the tree, and it was about 12- 1 pm in the afternoon.

The light for this bird shot is to the left of the bird, and is from the window also.

Storm Family | Broken Arrow Family Photographer
Halie and her family are so awesome! Her little boys are THE most adorable kids, they are so sweet to each other, you can tell they are best friends.
The two littlest are Halie's and the other kiddos are their cousins, and they were so great also.
We have had a long string of cloudy days, and I don't normally shoot on cloudy days. I am glad I got out of my comfort zone & challenged myself a bit. I think the photos turned out great.

Before & After
I thought I'd share a bit of a before and after of my editing style!
I always make my images warmer, I am drawn to warm, glowing photos.
The first photo is straight out of camera or SOOC. The only thing I did to it is to resize the image, because it was so large.
The second photo is with my editing.
Details:
Photo was taken between 4-5 pm ( I don't remember the exact time)
Camera : Canon 6D
Lens: Canon 135mm 2.0L
ISO: 250
SS : 1/160 s
f/ : 2.8
